|Portes beach near lake Moustos for water-sports - Paralio Astros|
Portes beach (which means gates) has become very popular in eastern Peloponese. Long stretches with clear, crystal sea for all tastes. The beach took its name from two big gates which were placed to hold the waters of two rivers. These gates still exist buried into the sand and some of the locals really know where they are. During the summer when the sea level is lower they can be seen by those who know of course.
